I’m DJ SAYO, a selector & DJ based in Zurich. Afrobeats and Amapiano are my heart, with Hip-Hop and R&B in the mix — the kind of sound that moves a room.Sayo means “bringing joy” — and that’s what I’m here for.

Who is Sayo?

I trained as a hip-hop dancer for years and played drums for over a decade — rhythm has always been at the core of who I am.That background shapes everything about how I DJ. African music and culture deeply influence the way I connect with sound, and you can hear it in every set. Afrobeats and Amapiano are my heart, with Hip-Hop, R&B and Dancehall woven in.Sayo means “bringing joy” in Yoruba, and that’s exactly what I do. What started in Zürich’s clubs and events has grown into one of Switzerland’s fastest-rising DJ accounts — millions of views a month and a community that reaches from South Africa across Europe, the Americas and beyond. From clubs and festivals to day parties — always with that one goal: bringing joy.

Let's talk.
